Super Bowl ‘08 - “Yankees vs. Red Sox”

New England Patriots vs the New York Giants will be the most watched Super Bowl of all time in my opinion because you have the Yankees versus the Red Sox/New England Patriots versus the New York Giants. Same fan base for both groups. Northeasterners have loved their teams throughout history. And you’ve got two pieces of history going on here. You’ve got New England going for the perfect season winning the Super Bowl. Miami did it but didn’t play as many games. And you’ve got, in successive years, brothers playing in a Super Bowl. That’s never happened at the quarterback position in successive years and certainly it’s never happened that they even played in Super Bowls in successive years but now have them playing –maybe winning — the Super Bowl.

Who’s going to win? The Giants have a real chance and the reason they have a real chance is the pressure on New England to win every game and be up for every game is enormous. It wears on you. Tom Brady even said last week, it wears on him. He felt that last week against San Diego – that everything was hard and everything was a struggle.
